Chicken Alfredo Pasta Bake Recipe and a Bonus Budget Chicken Idea

Here is a simple and oh so delicious recipe for an Alfredo sauce that you can make
in just a few minutes with only a few ingredients. I made this for the first time the
other day, and after my family tried it, they said it was even better than Olive
Garden’s Alfredo pasta dish.

Now, to give you a bonus along with this recipe, I have also included a video of
how to make six meals from six chicken thighs. This was a highly requested video,
and it can really help stretch the budget these days. I ended up using my last bit
of this chicken, that I had left over, and added this to my recipe.

Chicken Alfredo Bake

• 1 package of cream cheese – room temperature
• milk enough to cover the pot
• 6 oz. of Parmesan cheese
• 2 sticks of butter or 1 cup
• 2 boxes of linguine pasta
• 1 small tub of ricotta cheese
• 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
• salt and pepper to taste
• 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning

1. Cook up your linguine and set it aside.

2. Melt the butter in a fry pan (if you want you can cook and brown some
boneless chicken in the butter and then pull it out before you make your
sauce and shred it up and add back later).

3. After your butter (and or chicken) is done, add Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and cream cheese. Break the cream cheese up then stir it with a fork, and then add milk to the pot. Cover with milk to the top of the butter/cheese mixture. Continue stirring until it’s all blended on low heat. Once blended you can add your shredded chicken if you would like.

4. Use a large casserole pan, and spray with cooking spray. Add half of the linguine in the dish; put some of the Alfredo sauce over the top of the pasta. Spoon out your ricotta cheese over top of the pasta and sprinkle the Italian seasoning over it. Now add remaining pasta and then the balance of our sauce.

5. Bake in a 350-degree oven for twenty minutes to just warm it up and then serve. A great side dish would be some fresh veggies sliced up such as carrots, cucumbers, and red peppers along with some garlic knots.
